That matters because the precious-metals industry has a lot of operators who are essentially mailing addresses with no physical presence. If something goes wrong — a parcel goes missing, an offer feels off, you change your mind — you want to know there's a real shop you can walk into.

You can do it your way

We deliberately built two separate ways to sell with us, because Gold Coast locals are split roughly down the middle:

Online — order a free, insured Gold Kit, post your items in our prepaid satchel, and receive an offer within 48 hours. Best if you're busy, live further north or south of Southport, or just prefer not to make a special trip.
In person — drop by our Southport Park kiosk during shopping centre hours and get a valuation while you wait. Best if you'd like to meet us, ask questions face-to-face, or you're already in the area for groceries.

Either way, the pricing methodology is identical and the offer process is the same. You're never penalised for choosing one over the other.

Transparent pricing, written down

We hold a Queensland Second-hand Dealer & Pawnbroker Licence (#4938375) and trade under ABN 43 213 317 654. That's not just paperwork — it means we're bound by strict rules about identity verification, record-keeping, customer communication and complaints handling.

Unlicensed buyers, market-stall pop-ups, and "cash for gold" outfits in temporary locations are not bound by the same rules. If something goes wrong with one of them, your options for recourse are limited.

A 48-hour decision window

We don't pressure you to decide on the spot, ever. Once we make you an offer, you have 48 hours to accept, ask questions, or decline. If you decline, your gold is returned in the same insured packaging at no cost.

This isn't a marketing gimmick — it's how we'd want to be treated. Selling gold is often emotional (a parent's ring, a grandmother's chain), and good decisions rarely happen in 30 seconds at a counter.

We're not always the right choice

To be fair: there are situations where we're probably not the best fit.

If your piece has significant collector or antique value beyond its gold content (e.g. a signed Art Deco brooch by a known maker), an auction house specialist will likely beat our offer.
If you have a single high-value gem (like a 2 ct+ diamond), a gemological appraiser plus a private buyer or auction will usually do better than we will.
